Today is somebody's birthday! The big 0-6. We've been through a lot in the past 6 years, haven't we honey? Let's see - we've lived in 4 states (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Texas), 8 cities (Worcester, Westerly, Silver Spring, Brookline, Waltham, Newton, Watertown, and Austin), been to 4 institutions of higher learning (Clark University, American University, Boston University and the University of Texas at Austin), worked in 4 different labs (the Jacobson lab, the Fantie lab, the Stern lab, and the Fischl lab), had 10 different roommates (Therese, Emily and Zainab; Mom and Dad; Anne and Maggie; Katie and Suzanne; Stacey), 5 different cat roommates (Bentley, Mr. Bojangles, Princess, Pepper and Oliver), owned three cars (Marv, Tibby, and this one with no name). In fact, in the last 6 years I can think of nothing that has remained the same - at all - except that you've been with me. Thanks for that, I guess I'll keep you! Happy birthday, punk!
